So since you can't obviously change your itinerary, how about trying a new cruiseline, and going on Mariner of the Seas. It's got loads of facilities, including a rock climbing wall and ice skating rink. Happy vacationing! You can do one that goes partially thru and then turns around and comes back to Southern California. That way, they would still see some of Mexico, but also Probably Costa Rica and of course Panama. But why you are applying fro your green card, you can get a work visa and hopefully by the time you are approved to become a citizen that will be he time that your work visa expires.
